A full-day boat excursion of the Scandola Nature Reserve and the Gulf of Porto can be taken departing from Ajaccio or Porticcio. Discover one of the remaining Mediterranean enclaves that still supports indigenous birds and plant life.
Spend two hours walking around the remote Girolata town on the seashore. For lunch, find a great restaurant or have a picnic on the sand. Only about 15 people live in the village during the winter, making it practically a ghost town.
