Overview

Start with pickup from your hotel or accommodation in central Chiang Mai. Take a scenic drive southwest of Chiang Mai, seeing local farms, hill tribe villages and rice paddies along the way.
The road to Mae Wang Falls, where you can relax and immerse yourself in the water. Come to a secret elephant sanctuary located deep in the jungle. You will be greeted at the sanctuary by a guide who will guide you through the experience.
Dress up in the Karen clothing worn by elephant handlers. You will also receive a briefing on Asian elephants and the background of the sanctuary. Come meet the friendly rescued elephants and feed them bananas.
Take the elephants up the hill through the forest and watch the elephants forage for food in the wild. Observe the elephants as they interact between families in their natural environment.
Head down to the river and enjoy a swim with the elephants. Take a walk with the elephants back to the sanatorium and reminisce and get time to say goodbye to these amazing creatures.
Complete a scenic bamboo raft trip along the Mae Wang River before being dropped off at your hotel in Chiang Mai.
