With 600 years of history, The Hague Tower is one of the oldest buildings in the city and a landmark for travelers and locals alike. Christiaan Huygens, Vincent Van Gogh and even Napoleon climbed this unique tower. It was built in a hexagonal shape to protect it from the sea wind.
Almost anyone can climb the Hague Tower, as there are several floors on the way up where you can rest for a while. Once at the top, you will be able to enjoy a panoramic view of the beautiful skyline, Rotterdam and the sea.
After your tour, enjoy a complimentary bottle of water (sparkling or still) waiting for you downstairs. A leaflet with an English translation of this tour is also available upon request at the box office.
Join a guided ascent of The Hague Tower, one of the city’s most famous landmarks. With 288 steps and a height of 92.5 meters, beautiful views of the city and the region await you.
Discover the history of the Netherlands’ Nazi occupation at the Oranjehotel. For over 250 prisoners, this was their final destination: they were sentenced to death and executed by firing squad.
