It offers a unique blend of art and tranquility in the heart of Paris. While the Monet Water Lilies steal the show, the museum’s other collections are equally impressive. The serene atmosphere prevails within the walls of this historic institution. And if i talk about the booking process, their website was user-friendly and friendly staff provided excellent customer service, answering all my questions and addressing any concerns promptly.

As a person with mobility challenges, I found Musée de l’Orangerie to be inaccessible. The lack of handicap drop-off and crowded walkways made reaching the entrance difficult. The museum itself was overwhelmed by TikTokers, detracting from the serene atmosphere. While the Monet paintings are impressive, they appear somewhat neglected. Considering the accessibility issues and crowdedness, I would also recommend exploring other smaller museums in Paris.

Musée de l’Orangerie is hands down my favorite museum in Paris. With ever-changing exhibits, Monet’s Water Lilies offers a serene escape from the bustling city. The gift shop and cafe add to the charm, providing a delightful way to conclude the visit. It’s a must-see destination that never fails to impress.

If you’re short on time in Paris, this is a perfect choice. I was in a pinch to find tickets. Despite booking at the last minute, they managed to secure tickets for me without any hassle. The museum can be explored in just a couple of hours. It is an ideal stop for busy travelers. The exhibitions are truly breathtaking and shouldn’t be missed. Despite minor accessibility issues due to construction, the overall experience is worth it.

The museum is a hidden gem in Paris. It offers more than just Monet’s water lilies. While the highlight is undoubtedly Monet’s masterpieces, the museum also boasts collections from other renowned artists like Chaim Soutine and Raoul Dufy. The special exhibition featuring Richard Raymer’s white canvases may not be everyone’s cup of tea. It adds an interesting dimension to the museum’s offerings. Despite the potential for long lines, visiting towards closing time proved to be a smart move to avoid crowds.
