Zermatt: Matterhorn Glacier Paradise Cable Car Entry Ticket

Overview

Start your journey at the Zermatt-Matterhorn valley station. Within 45 minutes you will reach the highest mountain station in Europe at an altitude of 3,883 meters above sea level – Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. First, travel comfortably in the 8-seater Matterhorn Express gondola on the way to the Trockerner Steg. You pass lush green meadows, old Wallachian villages and magical forests before the landscape changes to a landscape of impressive moraines and ice-polished rocks and glaciers.
At Trockener Steg, jump into the highest cable car 3S, which will take you to the top. Enjoy the magnificent view from the panoramic windows and enjoy the heated seats while crossing the Theodul Glacier.
Once at the top, visit the observation deck and admire the 38 Alpine giants of the French, Italian and Swiss Alps, as well as 14 glaciers. In the cinema, enjoy short films about mountaineering, local fauna and flora, cable cars and ice and snow. Or explore the world’s highest ice palace and admire hand-crafted sculptures in the eternal ice.
