What To Expect

Opening hours:
Monday–Sunday : 09:00 AM - 08:00 PM

Al Hambra:

This is a site you would not want to miss because of its grandeur and historical significance. This palace has been named the most visited monument in Spain, with over two million visitors in 2014. That's even more astounding when you consider the rest of the country's sites.

Nasrid Palace:

The Nasrid Palaces, undoubtedly the most well-known component of the Alhambra, were the formal palace of the Moorish monarchs of Granada. This section alone has a number of elements. Various sultans that occupied the Alhambra throughout the Moorish period of Granada began to add various royal houses to the palaces, completing them into the iconic complex that we know today.

Generalife:

The tranquil gardens of Generalife stand in stark contrast to the bustling castles and towers. While still popular with visitors, it's difficult not to get a sense of inner serenity and tranquility as you walk through this lovely natural environment.

    Enchanting Alhambra, Disappointing Service Experience

The Alhambra, Generalife & Nasrid Palaces tour offered stunning architecture and a rich historical experience. However, the service was disappointing, with poor organization and unhelpful staff, detracting from an otherwise remarkable visit.

    Charming Alhambra

Alhambra is the best place I’ve seen in Andalusia. It is worth it. I opted for the audio guide app tour, which was quite satisfactory considering the cost.

My trip to Alhambra, Generalife & Nasrid Palaces was nothing short of spectacular. The beauty of the surroundings took my breath away as I wandered through corridors lined with ornate arches and delicate carvings. Each corner revealed a new marvel, from stunning courtyards to tranquil water features in the Generalife gardens. Absolutely beautiful place. But being the main attraction in Granada, it gets pretty crowded. We arrived there early, around 9 AM and it seemed like we had the place to ourselves. But as lunch time approached, more and more buses full of tourists and guided tours arrived and the place got really crowded. But crowds aside, this place is absolutely beautiful and a must-see if you are in the area. There was conflicting information online about being able to bring your own water or a backpack, but the staff were very reasonable, they’ve asked us to move the backpack to the front of the body when walking through areas that were very sensitive, but otherwise we had no problem. There were fountains, but also places to buy water and food.

We were in a pinch to find tickets. We booked tickets from here one day ahead of the visit.  Despite booking at the last minute, they managed to secure tickets for us without any hassle. Thanks for their excellent customer service. The audio guide for your phone was included (do bring headphones). This is the most amazing palace complex. Stunning architecture throughout. Nasrid palace is a must see. Would recommend getting an early entry ticket to Nasrid palace, as it’s quieter and you get to take nice pictures. There is a nice coffee and sandwich shop by Alcazaba entrance, it was not too busy. Generalife gets busy, but it’s worth it. You see some beautiful fountains and nice views of the fortress.

We visited this place during a trip in Andalusia. The famous Alhambra is most likely the top attraction in this region. We started early and could see all the areas in detail. Just amazing what they built several hundred years ago.
