Full Description
After pickup, drive to Maeklong Railway Market, also known as Talad Rom Hup (?Umbrella Pulldown Market?). Maeklong is one of the largest fresh seafood markets in Thailand and hugs the Maeklong railway line. Get fascinating information from your local guide about how the market works and what products are sold here. Marvel at how the stalls and awnings are pulled off the tracks every time a train approaches to pass. Next, head to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, one of the most famous floating markets in Thailand. Take a short pedalo ride to get to the market. Enjoy plenty of time wandering around the colorful market, where friendly vendors sell directly from their boats.
