Full Description
The city is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, so the streets go up and down, so a segway is probably the most convenient way to get around. Use segway training to get comfortable if you're a beginner. Walk past Plaza Nueva, Fuente del Toro, Paseo de los Tristes and the old gypsy caves to Abadia del Sacromonte. Sacromonte Abbey provides an insight into the city's cultural history. In addition to the historical significance of the district, the hilltop location offers great views and photo opportunities. Walk through the narrow streets of the Albaicin district, get close to the Granada Mosque and take a photo at one of the most famous vantage points, San Nicholas Square, where you can see the Alhambra and Generalife Gardens.
