Renowned multimedia artist Andre Heller has created unique mood lighting designs for performances in the world’s most spectacular arenas. The spectacular spectacle of riders and their Lipizzans is enhanced by the harmony and accompaniment of traditional Viennese music. The standard performance includes a 70-minute gala performance, a 1.5-hour performance with live performances, and a 2-hour Viennese performance dedicated to the main act.
Experience the White Circle ballet at the unique baroque winter equestrian school in the Hofburg Palace, built during the reign of Charles VI. Horsemen and their Lipizzans have been trained for many years to accomplish these feats. The Spanish Equestrian School is the only institution that teaches classical equitation in the Renaissance Haute Ecole style for almost four centuries.
From young, great twirls to skilled School twirls, they dazzle the audience with spectacular feats such as levads and caprioles. The High School of Classic Riding is best suited to the elegance and physique of the Lipizzaner. They are the oldest horse breed in Europe. One of the main responsibilities of the Spanish Equestrian School, which is included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list, is the preservation and maintenance of the Classical Equestrian School.
