Full Description

The Anne Frank House provides an immersive experience for visitors to understand Anne's story through quotes, images, videos, and artifacts. The museum has a solemn yet authentic atmosphere. On July 6th, 1942, the Frank family went into hiding in the secret annex at Prinsengracht 263, where Otto Frank's business was located. Later, they were joined by Fritz Pfeffer and the Van Pels family The building consisted of the main house and the annex. The annex's upper floors housed the eight people in hiding. Anne had to share a small room with Fritz Pfeffer, which often led to arguments, as she struggled with being confined indoors. Writing in her diary provided an outlet for Anne. To brighten the space, she put up pictures on the walls.

All international nationals are required to present their passport and visa information upon arrival.
Each guest is required to present identification upon arrival.
Children should be at least ten years old, but parents must determine if their child is prepared for such a serious topic.
In order to preserve the museum's original artifacts and prevent disturbing other guests, photography is prohibited within the premises.
You can leave your umbrella, luggage, and coat in the museum's cloakroom.
It can only accommodate bags smaller than an A4 sheet of paper.
The museum does not let visitors to bring heavy backpacks, luggage, or other bulky objects.
You might not be able to attend the museum if you don't leave your bags at your hotel or at Amsterdam Central Station.
