What to expect

Sit on a stone bench and imagine the sights and sounds of ancient theatergoers as they attended the plays of Greek writers Aeschylus, Sophocles and Euripides.
Pass the Odeon of Herodes Atticus; The theater is used today for the Athens Festival from May to October. Before the Parthenon, find solace in Asclepius, a healing temple dedicated to Asclepius, the god of medicine. Tour the temple to see how the goddess Athena built it. After exploring the traditional architectural sights, take a break and relax at the New Acropolis Museum (fee required).

Meeting point

Meet your guide at the Athens Walks office, located 60 meters from the Acropolis metro station. If you are using Google Maps, make sure to add the postal code to the address. If you are arriving from the Acropolis metro station, use the Athanasiou Diakou Street exit and take the stairs up. Continue on this street for 60 meters and you will see the shop on your right.
