Step inside some of Versailles’ most famous rooms, including the State Apartments, the King’s Bedroom, and the dazzling Hall of Mirrors. As you explore, your guide will share the story of the palace, from the reign of Louis XIV to the events that shaped the French Revolution.
After your guided visit, enjoy free time to wander through the French Gardens at your own pace. If you select the optional upgrade, you can also join a guided garden tour for deeper insight into the design and history of the grounds.
For those wanting a more comprehensive experience, a full-day option is available, featuring a visit to Marie Antoinette’s private estate and picturesque hamlet.
At the end of your visit, simply hop back on the coach for an easy return to central Paris—no need to worry about navigating public transportation.
Know Before You Go
- For safety reasons, children under 6 years old are not permitted. Please do not bring them on the day of the tour, as we cannot accept them
- There is an 8-minute walk from the meeting point to the bus
- The full-day option (with Trianon Estate) involves significant walking and is not recommended for those with mobility issues
- If the bus transfer cannot operate due to circumstances beyond our control, the trip will be made via public transportation with a GetYourGuide host
- Check in at the time indicated on your voucher. Late arrivals may result in missed entry; rescheduling fees apply
- The palace gardens are free from November to March—no tickets are needed, and there are no musical or fountain shows
- The gardens close at 5:30 PM from November to March
- There are no restrooms on the bus
- Unfortunately, the bus is not adequately accessible for wheelchair users
