Paris: Panthéon Admission Tour Ticket with Self-Guided

Overview

Welcome to Panthéon Admission Ticket tour with self guided in Paris. Soar under Paris’ largest dome inside the magnificent neoclassical Panthéon, a secular mausoleum honoring France’s cultural icons from Voltaire to Marie Curie. Conceived as a church glorifying patron saint Genevieve, architect Jacques-Germain Soufflot instead created an epic Roman-inspired tribute to Enlightenment ideals. After the Revolution, the reinvented Panthéon interred towering figures from Hugo to Zola.
Below ground, discover the crypt’s elaborate tombs. An illuminating exhibit chronicles Soufflot’s doomed ambitions: he never saw his finished masterpiece, which struggled against flawed materials and demanding renovations even today. Climb narrow winding stairs to the attic balconies for heavenly Paris views, if visiting April-October.
