Full Description
Set out from Rovaniemi in the early evening on a guided Northern Lights tour into the forests and lakeside areas of Lapland with less light pollution. Relax on the drive through wooded landscapes and listen as your guide explains the science and legends behind the aurora borealis. Together with the group, you’ll stop at a picturesque lake or forest clearing, where a campfire and traditional Lappish BBQ—including local bread, sausages, salmon soup, and blueberry tea—are prepared for you to enjoy. While waiting for the lights to appear in the night sky, stay warm around the fire and gaze up at the stars. After the experience, return back to your accommodation or the meeting point in Rovaniemi.

- Departure time may vary depending on the seasons and availability, please kindly check the email sent by the supplier for the exact pick-up time and pick up location
- From December to the end of January, Rovaniemi experiences a very high level of tourist traffic, which is why we often have to form exceptionally large groups for this activity. For a more private experience, we recommend that you book the Hunting Northern Lights - Small Group Tour instead.
- Northern Lights sightings cannot be guaranteed due to they are subject to weather conditions and the solar activity. The tour guide and driver will try their best to find a suitable viewing location. If it is cloudy on the day of the activity and the lights cannot be observed, refund will not be provided. Thank you for your understanding.
