Full Description
Explore Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's world in the multimedia, interactive Mythos Mozart exhibit. This museum explores the music and life of the prolific Classical musician Mozart, and it is housed in the building where he spent the final year of his life. See the home where Mozart wrote "The Magic Flute" and "The Requiem" before passing away in 1791. The British-German lighting designer Moritz Waldemeyer created the 1,500-candle REQUIEM – MOZART'S DEATH chamber, where you begin your adventure.
Proceed to the VIENNA 1791 - MOZART'S CITY room, where you can explore the bustling streets of Vienna, ascend rooftops in a balloon, arrive at the residence where Mozart passed away, and enjoy 360° panoramic views of the past.
Enjoy views of the First District, Karlskirche, the ferris wheel, and St. Stephen's Cathedral from the Sky & Roofgarden, and play with instruments from around the globe in the Little Night Music area.
