Full Description
Depart central Florence in the morning and travel by air-conditioned coach toward La Spezia before boarding a train into the Cinque Terre region. The itinerary includes visiting villages like Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso, and Riomaggiore. Depending on the option chosen, you can go on a guided hike between Corniglia and Vernazza, take trains between villages, enjoy seaside views, sit in local cafés, swim, and explore villages at your own pace. If you select the itinerary with Pisa instead of a full Cinque Terre hike, the tour visits three of the villages and adds free time in Pisa, including a stop to see the Leaning Tower and other Piazza dei Miracoli sights. The day includes entry to the Cinque Terre National Park, local train tickets, and (weather permitting) a boat ride along the coast.
Know Before You Go
- The itinerary may change due to the closure of paths, bad weather, or unforeseen events
- If you would like to stay in Cinque Terre after the tour ends, or depart from Florence by train after the tour, you are welcome to bring your luggage with you
- It is recommended to book any rail travel from Florence after 9:30 PM, to allow time for any traffic delays on your return journey
- From November 1 to March 31, the boat service is not available and will be replaced with transportation by train
- In case of bad weather the boat ride will not be available. In this case, it will be replaced with transportation by train
