Full Description
Embark on a full-day guided tour from Interlaken to Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe, combining scenic transport by coach, cable car, and a cogwheel train. Start with a comfortable coach ride to Grindelwald, then ascend via cable car to the Eiger Glacier and continue by cogwheel train to Jungfraujoch. At the summit, soak in breathtaking high-alpine views, visit the Sphinx Observation Terrace and walk through the Ice Palace tunnels. On the return journey, pass through Lauterbrunnen before heading back to Interlaken.
Know Before You Go
- A minimum stay of 2 hours on top of Jungfraujoch is always guaranteed.
- Routing and means of transport may have to be amended during maintenance work and depending on seasonal schedules without prior notice
- Recommendations by Jungfrau Railways to enjoy the stay at high altitude: Health: you should be physically fit and healthy. Equipment: good footwear is important for getting around safely. Not recommended for pregnant women from the 7th month of pregnancy or high-risk pregnancy and for children under the age of 2 due to difficulties equalising pressure and insufficient fluid intake.
