Choose your preferred option: hotel pickup in Khao Sok or meet your captain at the pier in the stunning Khao Sok National Park. Board a traditional private longtail boat and begin exploring one of the oldest rainforests in the world.
Ideal for nature lovers, this tour offers a serene boat experience surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Select the early morning tour at 6:00 AM to enjoy a magical sunrise over the lake accompanied by the calls of gibbons, or the afternoon tour at 2:30 PM to see the sunset while avoiding the crowds.
Cruise across Cheow Lan Lake, admiring the peaceful environment and striking limestone cliffs. Keep an eye out for wildlife, including monkeys swinging through the trees, and marvel at the iconic “Three Brothers” limestone formations.
Visit Diamond Cave (Pra Kie Phet Cave) for a 30-minute exploration of its mystical interior, filled with stalagmites, stalactites, and coral formations. Spot bats, spiders, and snakes as you walk through the cave’s natural wonders.
Conclude your journey at a floating raft house, where you can swim in the emerald waters, relax, or enjoy refreshments at the local restaurant with stunning views.
Return to the pier and cruise back, taking in the majestic scenery one last time. If you opted for hotel transfers, enjoy a comfortable ride back to your Khao Sok accommodation.

- The local captain and driver speak very basic English; we appreciate your patience.
- The restaurant at the floating pier may be full at times; bringing snacks is recommended.
- Diamond Cave notice: The cave may contain bats, spiders, and occasionally snakes. If you prefer not to visit, please inform us no later than one day before the tour.
- Tour schedule may change due to weather and lake conditions.
- Khao Sok is one of Thailand’s wettest regions; please be prepared for rain. Bring a waterproof bag and rain jacket. The longtail boat roof does not fully cover passengers and cannot be used in strong winds.
- Most rainfall occurs from late April to December. The tour will operate in rain if conditions are safe.
- Time on the lake: Approximately 4 hours total, including 1.5 hours cruising by private boat, 30 minutes at Diamond Cave, and the remaining time at a floating pier for swimming and relaxation.
