The Lake Mead Recreation Area can be seen in the distance as you approach the park entrance. Lake Mead is the biggest man-made lake in the country.

Nevada’s oldest state park lets you inquiry the desert environment while admiring petroglyph-covered walls. As the trail progresses, you’ll encounter both simple and hard rock formations that will take you over some of Southern Nevada’s most spectacular ridges and plateaus. These routes are made in the spirit of adventure, so there is no lack of excitement.
Before heading back to Las Vegas at the end of the tour, you’ll stop at the park’s visitor center.
