The Museo Picasso Málaga is housed in the Palacio de Buenavista, declared a national monument in 1939 and opened in the heart of Málaga in 2003. The building boasts a harmonious blend of Renaissance and Mudejar elements and calm contemporary lines. The underground floor contains Phoenician, Roman and Arab ruins.
This ticket gives access to the permanent collection containing examples of Picasso’s revolutionary innovations. View paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics and graphic works, from his early academic studies to his personal neoclassical perspective.

  • Please note that if you purchase a discounted or free ticket, you will need to present yourself at the box office.
  • There is a 15-minute museum admission buffer in your time slot.
  • Any museum ticket can be used to enter the archaeological site.
  • There is a cloakroom on site. The maximum size of a suitcase or backpack that can fit is 55 x 35 x 20 cm. Items placed in a locker must be picked up on the same day.
  • Bicycles, tricycles and scooters are not allowed.
  • It is necessary to place umbrellas and other potentially dangerous objects in the dressing room.
  • Food and drinks must remain inside the backpack or bag.
  • Free admission is offered on Sundays until two hours before closing time.
  • Children under the age of thirteen require adult supervision.
  • For the blind or visually impaired, equipment is available (audio written guide in Spanish and sign language in Spanish) for the temporary exhibition "Dialogues with Picasso. Collection 2020-2023." The audio guide is only available in English and Spanish.
