Full Description
The tour includes stops at the Greco-Roman aqueduct, the remains of the Roman theater and the recently resurrected Summa Cave, the new part of the Roman theater. The tour can be followed in multiple languages with a free multilingual app that you can download before your visit, or you can follow the guide in English or Italian. To help you better follow the visit, a brochure in multiple languages is also always provided. You can take pictures along the way. After exploring the Neapolitan underground, treat yourself to a delicious pizza by choosing the tour and pizza option.
Know Before You Go
- You can reduce the waiting time in the entrance queue with this skip the line tickets, especially in the high season. This ticket is not priority.
- The visit cannot be completed independently; there will always be a guide to help you.
- Comfortable shoes and a sweatshirt are recommended during warm weather.
- There is good lighting, handrails on the access ladder and very short steps along the way. The only path, which is somewhat lit and narrow, is optional.
- Young people attending elementary and junior high school should carry a small flashlight with them.
- Wheelchair access is not possible due to the 121 steps that need to be climbed and descended along the way. Both escalators and elevators are missing. Strollers can be parked at the main entrance and picked up at the exit.
- Naples Underground does not follow the government-backed #DomenicalMuseo initiative, which offers free admission to museums and historical monuments on the first.
- What to bring : Comfortable shoes and clothes.
- This tour is not suitable for pregnant women, people with mobility impairments and claustrophobia.
