I found myself lost in the stories behind each artwork. As an art lover Paris Orsay Musuem was a dream come true . Visiting the Orsay Museum was a treat for my senses.
I just had the most amazing visit to the Orsay Museum in Paris! The artworks were absolutely breathtaking, and the architecture of the building itself was stunning and definitely the main part—the edifice, needless to say. Couldn’t wait to share my review, so here I am, and I absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Paris. It’s definitely a must visit!
The Musée d’Orsay was a pilgrimage to the heart of Impressionism and post-Impressionism. The museum’s comprehensive collection offered a fascinating glimpse into the evolution of these artistic movements, from the works of Monet and Renoir to Van Gogh and beyond. Each painting revealed insights into the artists’ techniques and inspirations, deepening my understanding of their contributions to the art world. It was a scholarly journey that left me inspired and eager to delve deeper into the rich tapestry of art history.
I have been many times to the Musee d’Orsay- it is a real favorite. Today we went with pre-booked and prepaid tickets for the 11 am time slot. After researching so many sites I found this reliable site. Be aware, there are many scammer sites. I went there to see the 1874 Impressionist special exhibition.
Once admitted to the exhibition, there were hordes there and it was overcrowded and difficult to see the paintings. The exhibition is excellent but poorly managed and apparently oversold.
