Meeting Point

Here are some recommended ways to get to Park Güell: ● Metro, Green Line (L3), Lesseps Station: From the Lesseps stop on Line 3, it is a 20-minute walk. We recommend using the entrance on Avinguda del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya, which has an escalator. Note: The Vallcarca stop on Line 3 is not recommended, as the mechanical stairs at Baixada de la Glòria are currently out of service, making it difficult to reach the park. ● Bus, H6, D40 Lines: From the bus stop at Travessera de Dalt (H6 and D40), it takes 10 minutes walking. We recommend accessing both from Avinguda del Santuari de Sant Josep de la Muntanya, with an escalator, or from Carrer Larrard. ● Bus Turístic and Barcelona City Tour: In both cases, the stop is located on Avinguda de la Mare de Déu de Montserrat. It takes 10 minutes on foot, and we recommend the entrance on Carretera del Carmel through Av. Pompeu Fabra. ● Taxis: Park Güell has two taxi stands located on Rambla de Mercedes and Carretera del Carmel.

Full Description

With your timed access ticket, visit Park Güell and take your time exploring the fascinating location. Admire the vibrant mosaic artwork of Antoni Gaudí, including the Dragon Stairway featuring the renowned salamander. Enjoy a respite from the bustle of the city as you meander around the verdant Austria Gardens and capture breathtaking views of Barcelona from the park's observation spots.

Eusebi Güell, a Catalan businessman who wished to reproduce a British residential park on Muntanya Pelada (Bare Mountain), gave Gaudí the park's design. In addition to being established as a municipal park in 1926, it was designated as an artistic monument in 1969 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.

Although you must enter the park during the time slot you have reserved, you are free to stay and enjoy the sights for as long as you wish.

The park was overcrowded, making it hard to enjoy the sights, and many areas required additional fees. Not worth the hype if you're looking for a peaceful visit.

The colors, shapes, and harmony with nature made it an experience unlike any other. Standing atop the park, the sweeping views of Barcelona were breathtaking and unforgettable.
