Experience the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art with an admission ticket! Explore stunning gardens, an equestrian museum, and watch daily horse training in an authentic Andalusian arena. Don’t miss the Carriage Museum!
There is a path from the reception to the exotic plant-filled gardens. Take note of the enormous fountain that sits in the middle of the gardens, its water jets enticing guests to go deeper into the royal school's grounds.
The palace looms impressively above the grounds on the other side of the fountain. It is a stunning illustration of Charles Garnier's 19th-century architecture. The cabins are on display on the ground floor, furnished exactly as they were intended.
The Museum of Equestrian Art, which has eleven rooms devoted to the beginnings and development of equestrian art and horses in Andalusia, is located in the basement.
You will then see where harnesses are made and repaired. This arduous work is done in the saddlery by the harness master and his apprentices.
Watch the training that takes place in the outdoor exercise rings and tour the indoor arena, a building designed in an authentic Andalusian style. With a capacity of 1600 people, it is the perfect place to watch the daily training of horses and riders.
In the stables, an octagonal complex, you will see the most characteristic horses of the school. In the middle of the stables is the harness where all the harnesses used for daily training and for shows are stored.
Your visit will end with a visit to the Carriage Museum.
