Full Description
Meet your guide in the morning at Tokyo Station or Shinjuku Station and travel by comfortable bus to Hakone, a scenic town known for its hot springs and beautiful views of Mt. Fuji.
Begin with a visit to Hakone Shrine, founded in 757. Enjoy free time to explore the peaceful grounds and admire the famous red Torii gate standing in Lake Ashi, a popular photo spot with Mt. Fuji in the background.
(Note: The Torii gate will be closed from Dec. 28 to Feb. 10, 2026.)
Next, you may choose to join an optional pirate ship cruise on Lake Ashi at your own expense. Sail on one of the themed ships—Royal II, Victory, or Queen Ashinoko—while enjoying scenic views of the lake, Torii gate, and Mt. Fuji. Guests who do not wish to cruise will travel by vehicle to Togendai Ropeway Station.
Continue with a ride on the Hakone Ropeway, offering panoramic views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi. Arrive at Owakudani, a volcanic valley formed around 4,000 years ago. Explore the area and try the famous black eggs, boiled in natural volcanic spring water.
***Please note: Lunch is not included. You may bring your own food, purchase lunch at the attractions, or dine at a restaurant recommended by the guide.
Afterward, visit Lake Yamanaka and stop at Swan Lake Shore, where swans gather and Mt. Fuji creates a perfect photo backdrop.
End the tour at Oshino Hakkai, a picturesque village with eight crystal-clear ponds fed by Mt. Fuji’s snowmelt, before returning to Tokyo.

- Pay attention: The tour duration may exceed 10 hours due to traffic. The Lake Ashi pirate ship costs ¥1,700 and is optional. The guide can help you buy tickets.
- 1.Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. Late arrivals are non-refundable. Several of our guides will be at the meeting point.
- 2. Ropeway will be closed due to the bad weather or maintenance, please email us for the ticket refund of 1000JPY per person.
- 3.We will send an email the evening before the tour, including the guide, driver meeting point information. Please check your inbox and spam/junk folder.
- 3.Visibility of Mt. Fuji depends on the weather, we can't guarantee —please check the forecast in advance.
- 4.Carry some cash with you.
- 5. During weekends, holidays, or peak season, traffic or weather may affect the itinerary. The guide may adjust or cancel stops. Return times may vary, so please don’t plan activities after the tour.
