Full Description
Enjoy the sights of its pleasure garden and Roman baths and mosaic-floored villas.
You will then move to the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, where you will feel the aura of ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman architectural excellence. The cemetery was built in the second century AD and is still one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.
Next, visit Pompey's Column, an important Roman triumphal column in Alexandria. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and then enjoy an outdoor photo stop at the Library of Alexandria, one of the largest and most famous archives of the ancient world.
Later, visit the Qaitbay Citadel, built over the ruined Alexandria Lighthouse. At the end of the tour you will be driven back to Cairo or Giza where you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
