With your admission ticket, begin your visit at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art at the Visitor Reception Centre, where an audiovisual presentation (available until 11:00 AM) introduces the rich history of equestrian art in Andalusia.

Stroll through the gardens, home to a variety of exotic plants and centered around a magnificent fountain that leads the way to the palace, a striking example of 19th-century architecture designed by Charles Garnier. On the ground floor, admire the halls as they were originally conceived, while the basement houses the Museum of Equestrian Art, featuring 11 rooms dedicated to the origins and history of horses and equestrian traditions in the region.

See the craft behind the scenes in the saddlery, where master harness makers and apprentices create and repair equipment (except Saturdays). Visit the outdoor training rings and the indoor arena, built in authentic Andalusian style with seating for 1,600, perfect for observing daily training sessions (except Saturdays).

Explore the octagonal stables, home to the school’s most emblematic horses, with a central tack room storing harnesses for daily training and performances. Conclude your visit at the Carriage Museum, where historic vehicles, harnesses, horses, and equestrian costumes are beautifully displayed, rounding off a full immersion into Andalusia’s equestrian heritage.
