Full Description
One of the most popular art museums in the world, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City, has six floors of art galleries in midtown Manhattan. Highlights include Monet's Water Lilies, Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, Matisse's Dance (I), and Warhol's Campbell's Soup Cans, as well as contemporary pieces by Elizabeth Murray, Cindy Sherman, Ai Weiwei, and many others. MoMA offers a comprehensive overview of modern and contemporary art, from the inventive European painting and sculpture of the 1880s to today's film, design, and performance art.

Know Before You Go
- The museum operates daily 10:30 AM-5:30 PM and Fridays from 10:30 AM-8:30 PM. The last entry is 1 hour before closing.
- Daily film screenings and art-making labs are included with admission. Entry to MoMA PS1 is also included for up to 14 days after your MoMA visit.
- Families and children are welcome at the museum. The museum is free for children ages 16 and under.
