Step into a traditional Māori village set within a lush natural bush and immerse yourself in their rich cultural heritage. After pickup from your Rotorua accommodation, enjoy a warm welcome from Māori hostesses (if this option is selected) and receive a briefing on the protocols for entering the sacred village. Choose a group representative to act as the chief during your visit.

Watch warriors in authentic attire paddle an ancestral canoe along the Wai-o-whiro stream and witness glow worms glowing in their natural environment. Be enthralled by a vibrant cultural performance featuring traditional songs, dances, and the powerful haka war dance. Discover the art of ta moko (Māori tattooing) and see a hangi feast being unearthed from its earth-cooked oven.
