Full Description
Visit the stunning castles of Linderhof and Neuschwanstein. Hohenschwangau offers a delectable lunch (not included). You have the option of purchasing your castle tickets in advance as part of the day excursion or on the bus on the day.
Take a bus with air conditioning and head out to explore Bavaria's castles. First, go to the only castle that Ludwig II lived to see finished, the fanciful Linderhof Palace. With your guide, explore the castle and its surroundings.
After that, have lunch (not included) at Hohenschwangau Castle, where Ludwig grew up, before continuing on to Neuschwanstein Castle, which is tucked away in the Alps' foothills. Spend the afternoon in the fantasy world of Ludwig II and take in one of Germany's most spectacular attractions.
Please be aware that due to weather, Oberammergau is inaccessible from early December to the end of March.

- If you choose the option without tickets, you may buy entrance tickets on the bus. Only debit and credit cards may be used for payment ( €41 including reservation and system fees, €10 per child)
- It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to walk from the ticket center to the castle, around 1 mile (1.5 km) on a steep uphill road
- There are many steps inside the Neuschwanstein Castle
- Audio commentary is available in 7 languages (subject to availability)
- Stop to Oberammergau is not possible in winter season
