The museum will show you the unusual tools and implements that were used in ancient times to transform hemp into rope, paper or textiles. See a series of paintings and engravings that describe the use of cannabis throughout the ages. The exhibition includes paintings by some of the leading artists of the 17th century. Explore the medical section with one of the world's largest collections of medicinal cannabis bottles, showing that the plant has been widely used to treat health conditions since the 19th century.
